Kvarken Ports Umeå operates the Port of Umeå, which means that the company is responsible for the daily operations. In close cooperation with Kvarken Ports Vasa we work to strengthen the market position of the Port of Umeå and the Port of Vaasa in the growing trade exchange between the Baltic Sea countries.

To meet future demands for transport, Umeå and Vaasa are building up a completely new port and transport concept. Kvarken Ports plays an important role in strengthening both the east-west and north-south transport routes that meet in the Kvarken region.
